Cookie Policy
Last updated 19 October 2026
This cookie policy explains which cookies bostancihomes.com sets, what each one is for, and how you can control them. Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser.
Cookie policy: the cookies we use
- Language cookie: the site is in Turkish and English. A small cookie called pll_language remembers which language you chose, so pages open in it next time. It lasts one year and holds nothing else.
- Essential cookies: WordPress sets cookies when someone logs in to manage the site, and to remember that a form was sent. Visitors who do not log in normally receive none of these.
- Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and how they find the site. It sets cookies only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Until then, Google receives only anonymous signals without cookies. Analytics does not tell us who you are. You can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings.
- Third-party cookies: clicking through to WhatsApp, Instagram or another site takes you to that service. That service then sets its own cookies under its own policy.
How to control cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. For example, in Chrome open Settings, then Privacy and security. Firefox keeps them under Settings, then Privacy & Security. In Safari, open Settings, then Privacy. Edge lists them under Settings, then Cookies and site permissions. Most browsers also let you block cookies for specific sites only.
On phones and tablets, the same options sit in the browser settings. For example, on an iPhone you manage cookies under Settings, then Safari.
Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the enquiry form, from working properly. Similarly, if you block the language cookie, the site may open in English each time.
Why we keep cookies to a minimum
We do not use advertising cookies. In addition, we do not place cookies that follow you across other sites. Our aim is simply to keep the site working, in both languages.
Cookies and your personal data
Our privacy policy explains how we handle any personal data. In Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) also publishes guidance on cookies.
Changes to this cookie policy
If we add or remove a cookie, we will update this cookie policy and the date at the top of the page.
